How to Freeze Your FlashPay Card

If you want to temporarily stop using your card for a certain period, you can freeze it and unfreeze it later when you need it.

If you no longer want to use a card and don't plan to reuse it, you will need to cancel it instead. Click here to learn how to cancel your card.

Steps to Freeze Your Card

1. Login to your FlashPay account.
2. Go to the Cards section.
3. Select the card you want to freeze.
4. Click on Settings.
5. Click on Status (you will see "in-use").
6. Click Freeze.
7. Enter the security code:
   • By password: Enter your security PIN
   • By email: Enter the code received in your email
8. Now your card is frozen. The card status will show as "freezing".

Why Freeze a Card?

Freezing your card allows you to temporarily stop all transactions, which is useful if:

• You suspect unauthorized activity on your card
• You want to pause spending temporarily
• You want extra control over your card usage

Freezing does not cancel your card or affect the balance. You can always unfreeze it when you're ready.

Notes:

• You can freeze your card anytime, as often as you need.
• Freezing is temporary, it does not cancel the card.
